Information
DALI-2 CS Integration, Instance Mode, PIR 10x30m / Light, IP54
Application
Compact DALI-2 sensor with motion detection (PIR, detection area 10x30 meters at a mounting height of 15 meters) and light measurement. Designed for use in instance mode with central DALI-2 controllers such as DALI-2 CS Master, WAGO, Beckhoff, and similar systems. Ideal for building automation systems where the measured values are processed centrally. Values can be queried or automatically trigger events via DALI-2 instances. Multiple sensors within a group synchronize automatically. Powered entirely via the DALI bus—no external power required. Protection class IP54 allows use in demanding environments.
Features
- Motion detection via passive infrared (PIR) with 10x30 meters detection range (mounting height up to 15 m)
- Light measurement from 0 to 2047 lux
- Instance mode for integration with central DALI-2 controllers
- Automatic synchronization of multiple sensors within one group
- Constant light control via central controller
- Sensor head is easy to adjust via turning and tilting mechanism
- Available in three housing types: standard (flush mount), ceiling (with spring), and surface mount (with mounting box)
- Housing colors: white RAL9010, traffic white RAL9016, and black
- IP54 protection against dust and splashing water
- Configuration via DALI Cockpit software
- Power supply via the DALI bus (no external supply required)

Important Notes
The sensor operates exclusively in instance mode in combination with a central DALI-2 controller. Standalone operation is not possible, unlike the DALI-2 CS Master. Instance communication is configured via DALI Cockpit software. All instance events are activated by default upon delivery. Power is supplied entirely via the DALI bus; no external power supply is needed. The IP54 protection class offers resistance against dust and splashing water, allowing the sensor to be used in more demanding environments.
