Description
The Lunatone DALI-2 RM8 WE is a compact switching actuator with relay output for integrating non-DALI loads into a DALI installation. Zero-cross switching reduces inrush currents and wear, extending the lifetime of both relay and connected loads. Power-up and system-failure behavior can be easily configured via the DALI Cockpit PC software.

- Switching 230/277 V loads without DALI input within DALI circuits
- Control of lighting (resistive/capacitive), power supplies and auxiliary devices within specifications
- Flush mounting in installation boxes with limited space

Important notes
- Maximum load: 2000 VA / 8 A continuous; always check the inrush current (up to 60 A) of the connected load.
- Zero-cross switching is ideal for resistive loads and LED drivers with limited inrush; for high inrush loads, a separate limiter or stronger type may be required.
- For indoor use only; housing IP40, terminals IP20. Ensure sufficient ventilation and correct cable sizing.
- No dimming function; switching only via DALI commands.
- Always test and configure Power-Up and System-Failure behavior correctly in DALI Cockpit (ON / OFF / no Change).
- Not intended as a safety component (e.g. personal protection, emergency stop, fire alarm functions).
