Description
The Lunatone DALI-2 RM5 is a compact switching actuator with relay output for integrating non-DALI loads into a DALI installation. Zero-cross switching reduces switching stress and extends the lifetime of both the connected load and the relay. Configuration of power-up and system-failure behavior is easily done via the DALI Cockpit PC software.

- Switching 230/277 V loads without DALI input within DALI circuits
- General lighting (resistive/capacitive), power supplies, auxiliary equipment within specifications
- Flush mounting in installation boxes with limited space

Important Notes
- Observe limits: 1000 VA / 6 A max, 5 A continuous; also check the inrush current (up to 60 A) of the load.
- Zero-cross is ideal for resistive/LED drivers with limited inrush; for high inrush loads, use an external inrush limiter or a stronger variant.
- Indoor use only; housing IP40, terminals IP20. Ensure adequate cooling and cable cross-sections according to specifications.
- The device has no mains relay outputs apart from the relay contact and no dimming function; switching/control via DALI commands only.
- Always test and correctly configure power-up and system-failure behavior in DALI Cockpit (ON/OFF/no Change) to prevent unwanted switching.
- Not suitable for use as a safety component (personal protection, emergency stop, fire alarm functions, etc.).
