Application Controller and Instance Mode

Compact sensor module with motion detection (PIR) and light intensity measurement for DALI and DALI-2 systems. The module can either be used to directly control the DALI system (application controller) or simply to gather measurements for a building management system (instance mode).
The DALI-2 CS can be configured with the DALI Cockpit Software to send various DALI commands upon motion detection (on/off, max, min, scene, …) to either the entire DALI system, groups, or individual addresses.
The module contains a light sensor and can automatically adjust room lighting (constant light control). 4 operating modes are supported: presence triggered constant light control; presence triggered lighting; constant light control; light control via threshold switches.
In addition, alternative behaviour and parameters can be set, for example to change between different destination addresses or light values.
Multiple sensors within one group will synchronise automatically.
The device is powered directly by the DALI bus. The measured values can be read out via the DALI line.

DALI-2 CS is available in three different housings: for direct mounting on cavity walls or installation boxes (standard), for suspended ceilings (with spring), or for surface mounting (with backbox). Available housing colours are pure white RAL 9010, traffic white RAL 9016 (-W16) or black (-B).
Factory setting: motion detection and 10min hold time before the off command.
